Excellent toughness metal cored hard overlay with good abrasion resistance and heat resistance up to 100°F (599°C) and still maintains a good cutting edge. Typical applications: hot working shear blades, forging dies, damaged or hot working punches, headers, trimmers, shear knives in hot work applications, mandrels, piercers, ejecting rods, augers, dozer blades and earth moving tools. Use CO2, but best results are obtained with Argon / CO2 mixtures. Deposit hardness 57 - 59 Rc.
